Mahindra has launched the automatic version of its popular Scorpio SUV at a price tag of Rs 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Scorpio automatic features a 2.2-litre, four cylinder, turbocharged engine that produces 120 BHP and 280 Nm of torque. The six-speed automatic gearbox transmits this power to the rear wheels, while 4WD also comes as an option.
According to Pravin Shah, President & Chief Executive (Automotive), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., "The Scorpio broke new ground when it was launched more than a decade ago and since then we have regularly upgraded the Scorpio to ensure that it stays relevant. At Mahindra, it is our constant endeavor to make advanced technology more accessible and affordable to our customers."

Since the Scorpio automatic is based on the top-end S10 variant, it is loaded with features and equipment, including a 6 inch touchscreen, automatic temperature control, and light and rain sensor.
On the safety front, the automatic version of the Scorpio comes with dual airbags, tyre pressure system and ABS.
