Mahindra launched a 9-seater variant of the Xylo MPV called the Xylo D2 Maxx. The launch comes a couple of days after Ashok Leyland’s foray into the MPV segment with the Stile. Targeted mainly at fleet operators, the Xylo Maxx comes with 9 seats which translates into a third row side-facing seats.
Under the hood Mahindra has given the D2 Maxx a 2.5 litre mDI CRDe engine which churns out 93.7bhp that also does duty in various products. This engine delivers an ARAI-rated fuel economy figure of 14.95kpl.
Mahindra has priced the Xylo D2 Maxx at Rs 7.12 lakh for the BS-III variant.
