Three drive modes – Zip, Zap, and Zoom – are available on the Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L models.

Mahindra has finally begun customer deliveries of the Scorpio N SUV's Z4 model in the country. While Mahindra Scorpio N SUV deliveries started in September 2022, the manufacturer gave the top-spec Z8 trim of the SUV priority over other variants. The company has now begun delivering mid-spec and lower trims of the Scorpio N SUVs in India.

While it is obvious that the Mahindra Scorpio N SUV's Z4 variant will not have many of the features found in the top-spec Z8 variant, the Scorpio N in the Z4 trim level still comes with an impressive feature set and has an ex-showroom starting price of ₹13.49 lakh.

Speaking of safety features, Mahindra has not made any significant cutbacks in this regard, so the Scorpio N Z4 SUV gets ISOFIX anchor points, multiple airbags, vented disc brakes both at the front and the rear, ABS, and EBD. Apart from these, the Scorpio N Z4 has a range of other features, including Start/Stop technology, second-row AC vents, a touchscreen infotainment screen with steering-mounted audio controls, a USB charging port, a 7-inch MID display, power windows, a second-row seat, which can be folded down with just a touch, ORVM-mounted LED turn signals, cruise control, and more.

Coming to the powertrain, the Scorpio N Z4 gets two powertrain options – a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 200bhp of maximum power and 370Nm of peak torque and a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 173bhp of peak power and 370Nm of peak torque. Both can be coupled with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. With the automatic transmission, these engines deliver 380Nm and 400Nm of torque, respectively. While the four-wheel-drive system is available as an option with the Scorpio N Z4 diesel automatic trim, rear-wheel drive comes as standard with the Z4.

Notably, within ten days of starting the SUV's deliveries in the country, Mahindra was able to deliver 7,000 Scorpio N units. The firm had recently recalled 6,618 Scorpio N manual gearbox models in order to replace the bell housing's rubber bellow.
