A video showing the Mahindra BE.05's interior has recently surfaced online, revealing a twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated 'BE' logo in the middle. The steering wheel, which seems to be either hexagonal or octagonal, also has lighted buttons on both sides for operating the infotainment and instrument panel. The display arrangement for the former and later may be connected, with a new UI with an EV-centric design and structure. Aside from the BE.05, Mahindra plans to launch several electric vehicles in India, including the XUV.e8 and XUV.e9, based on the XUV700. While there is no precise information regarding the launch date, the production-spec BE.05 is expected to make its debut in the second half of 2025. Read on for more details on the electric SUV.

The BE.05 has been seen in two different design configurations so far, suggesting different models specced according to their respective price points. According to the latest spy photos, the SUV in its top-tier trim features big C-shaped LED DRL lights, which seem to fill the majority of the vertical space at the front. With an aerodynamic profile, the car looks contemporary and bold. It features an identical C-shaped LED signature surrounding the taillights, which adds to its aggressive appearance. Furthermore, the twin roof spoiler seems to be borrowed from the concept.

The e-SUV is likely to be equipped with big twin integrated screens (one for the entertainment system and the other for the driver's display), fabric door handles, a large insert on the centre console, and electrically adjustable front seats. It could have the same dimensions as the concept, which are 4,370mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,635mm in height.
