A production-spec version of the Mahindra BE.05 has been spied while undergoing testing close to Mahindra Research Valley on the outskirts of Chennai. The images of the same have been doing rounds on the internet ahead of its official debut. Currently, the company sells the XUV400 EV in our market. According to industry reports, it will consolidate its position in the EV segment by launching a new BE (Born Electric) range. Considering the spy shots, the Mahindra BE.05 could be the first model to be launched under the new BE sub-brand. For starters, it was displayed in the UK in August 2022 and then in our market in February 2023. According to the spy shots, the model seems to follow the concept form. However, the flared wheel arches seem to have been toned down, and the front sports the new LED light signature. Additionally, classic ORVMs have taken the place of rearview cameras. Here's what the spy shots reveal about the upcoming electric model by Mahindra.
