Jaguar Land Rover has commenced the local assembly of the latest version of the XF in India and have launched it for Rs. 47.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The brand new Jaguar XF sedan is now being assembled in India at Jaguar Land Rover’s plant near Pune, Maharashtra. The XF is available in India with a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine which produces 177bhp. A 237bhp, 2.0-litre petrol engine is also offered in India with the XF. Both engines come mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
Jaguar has used their latest Lightweight Aluminium Architecture for the XF making the car nearly 190 kilograms lighter and stiffer than the previous generation model. The new XF though looks similar to the preceding generation car, subtle design cues have been added making the car look sharper and sportier. The headlamps are brand new are full LED with Jaguar signature J-Blade DRLs in addition to LED tail lamps. The XF also comes with InControl Touch Pro with the all-new 25.9 cm (10.2) touchscreen infotainment system and a Meridian Sound System.

Jaguar, in addition the XF being locally assembled in India, already sells the XE which has a starting price of Rs. 39.9 lakh which is also assembled in Pune. Additionally, the XJ is also assembled in India and is priced from Rs. 99.99 lakh. The new Jaguar F-Pace SUV is also on sale in India with prices starting from Rs. 68.4 lakh and the F-Type is also offered as a CBU and is priced from Rs. 1.25 crore onwards. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
