The newly unveiled Rolls-Royce Phantom special edition, limited to just one unit, marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger. It draws inspiration from Auric Goldfinger’s 1937 Phantom III Sedanca de Ville. The bespoke Phantom Extended combines luxury and design elements inspired by the movie, capturing the essence of the legendary spy's world. With a refined exterior and an opulent interior, the Phantom Goldfinger pays tribute to Bond’s enduring legacy. Fans and collectors can appreciate this unique vehicle, which serves as both a celebration of cinematic history and a symbol of the sophistication that defines the Bond franchise. As it joins the ranks of other Bond memorabilia, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Goldfinger stands out as a remarkable tribute to six decades of 007 adventures.

The design features multiple nods to iconic scenes and props from the movie, with exterior and interior colours mirroring those of the classic Goldfinger Phantom III. On the mechanical front, the Goldfinger remains the same as the standard Phantom Extended.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Goldfinger: Exterior Elements
The Phantom's exterior boasts a striking yellow and black colour scheme, mirroring the film's iconic car. The black 21-inch wheels, featuring silver floating hubcaps, also draw inspiration from the 1964 vehicle. Additionally, a creative touch references Goldfinger’s use of the Phantom III for gold smuggling, as the Spirit of Ecstasy logo is adorned with hints of 18-carat gold plating, giving the appearance of silver covering gold beneath. Rolls-Royce has secured the original 'AU 1' license plate from the movie to enhance its authenticity further, adding a distinctive finishing touch to this unique model.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Goldfinger: Interior
The Phantom Goldfinger’s most distinctive and customised features are found inside, where 18 and 24-carat gold adorn various elements. A hidden vault located in the centre console, between the front seats, has been specially crafted to hold an illuminated 18-carat gold bar shaped like a miniature Phantom. Gold details are also present on the bases of the front and rear centre consoles, air vents, speaker grilles, and inside the glovebox, which bears Auric Goldfinger’s memorable quote: 'This is Gold, Mr. Bond. All my life, I have been in love with its colour, its brilliance, its divine heaviness.' The treadplates are designed to mimic the gold bars collected by Goldfinger in the film.
Additionally, the starlight headliner is linked to the movie through its 719-star pattern, reflecting the constellations over the Furka Pass, with a gentle golden glow. The Royal Walnut picnic tables feature a 0.1mm inlay of 22-carat gold, showcasing a fictional map of Fort Knox, the setting for one of the film's final scenes. This intricate design took six months to complete after creating three prototypes. To offset the gold accents, the interior features navy leather and a Royal Walnut veneer inspired by the original design. Gold highlights are carefully integrated into the RR monograms, stitching, and seat piping caps.
