The NX 300h is priced between Rs 53.18 lakh - 55.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Lexus India has commenced customer deliveries of its NX 300h SUV on the occasion of the first year anniversary of its Indian operations. The NX was launched in November last year.
To further raise its hospitality quotient, the company is delivering the NX to its customers in style - cars arrive on flatbeds allowing owners to be the first to put kilometers on their car, which comes to them with a full tank of fuel. In addition, each delivery is customised based on Lexus’ knowledge of its customer.
For instance, in Mysore, one owner not only received his brand new Lexus, but his family each also received personalised gifts. Then, in Mumbai, a customised gift was crafted for a collector, so that he could add it to his collection, while he received his Lexus. Over the course of its first year in India, Lexus has conducted many similar personalised delivery experiences.
Lexus’ Relationship Managers are trained to have a deep, personal knowledge of and connection with owners which starts at the brand’s ‘Guest Experience Centers’ and continues through the highly personalised delivery experiences and throughout their ownership.
Lexus entered India in early 2017 with hybrid vehicles being the Toyota-owned luxury carmaker’s core focus. Despite GST doing no good for hybrid cars in India, Lexus remains focused on its strategy. Therefore, the conventional petrol-powered versions of the radically styled NX have not been launched in India.
The hybrid NX 300h sports the same powertrain setup as seen on the ES 300h saloon - which is a 2.5-litre litre petrol engine combined with an electric motor - collectively producing a total output of 194bhp and 210Nm. This powertrain setup is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). To see how the NX compares to its rivals, click here.
