Lexus India has officially started the deliveries of its upscale MPV, the LM 350h. This development comes more than a year after the prices were revealed in March 2023. For the uninitiated, Lexus announced in September last year that it had received over 100 reservations within a month of opening the bookings for the car in India. Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India said, 'We are humbled and delighted by the overwhelming response we have received from our guests for the new Lexus LM 350h. This vehicle embodies our commitment to luxury, and we are confident it has exceeded expectations and created a new benchmark in luxury first-class travel. We apologise for the high waiting period and sincerely thank all our guests for their continued support. The introduction of this product is a significant milestone for Lexus in India, and we are committed to providing our guests with world-class products thereby strengthening our relationship and continuing our legacy of innovation and excellence.'

In terms of interior layout, the LM sports a cream-coloured cabin theme. While the global-spec model is available in 6-,7-, and 4-seater configurations, the India-spec MPV comes in 4- and 7-seater versions. Feature-wise, the more opulent 4-seater model is equipped with a 48-inch TV, wireless phone chargers, a 23-speaker surround-sound audio system, a glass panel that can be raised or lowered, an umbrella holder, reading lights, noise-reducing rims and tyres, airline-style recliner seats, pillow-style headrests, heated armrests, a barrier between the front and rear passenger compartments, active noise control, separate front and rear audio output, a small fridge, vanity mirrors, rear gloveboxes, multiple USB ports, and fold-out tables.
Along with its contemporary features, the Lexus model has a warmth-sensing IR (infrared) matrix sensor that continuously measures the temperature of the occupants' legs, thighs, chest, and face in the backseat. The system regulates the air conditioning and seat heaters to keep the cabin at a reasonable temperature.
