Lexus has temporarily paused the bookings for the LM 350h MPV in India. Due to persistent supply issues, the automaker revealed it had to halt bookings in order to fulfil the high demand for the new LM 350h. Bookings have been suspended as of September 21, 2024, and the company says it is trying its best to open them again as soon as possible. Commenting on the development, Lexus said, 'Lexus India is humbled by the overwhelming response received from our guests for the Lexus LM 350h, and we sincerely thank all our guests for their strong support. Designed for a serene and productive passenger experience, the luxurious vehicle embodies Lexus' commitment to delivering exceptional comfort, innovative design, and unparalleled grandeur.'

Lexus LM: Exterior
Coming to its exterior, the LM’s bold grille, featuring hexagonal-patterned elements, is accentuated by the brand's signature daytime running lights integrated into its LED headlights. A full-width light bar at the rear, door-mounted ORVMs, and a choice of 17- and 19-inch alloy wheels further enhance its design. Measuring 5,125mm in length, 1,890mm in width, and 1,955mm in height with a 3,000mm wheelbase, the LM is built on Toyota’s TNGA-K modular platform.
Lexus LM: Mechanical Details
Mechanically, the Lexus LM is powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder self-charging hybrid engine, delivering 246bhp of maximum power and 239Nm of peak torque. It is paired with an automatic Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). The engine operates alongside a nickel-metal hydride battery, designed to provide high performance and fuel efficiency. The MPV is also equipped with the company's E-Four all-wheel-drive system. Lexus claims the MPV offers a range of over 1,200km on a full tank, with a fuel efficiency of 19.28km/l.
Lexus LM: Interior and Features
The LM's interior features a cream-coloured cabin theme. While the global model offers 6-, 7-, and 4-seater configurations, the India-spec version comes in 4- and 7-seater options. The more luxurious 4-seater variant is packed with features, including a 48-inch TV, wireless phone chargers, a 23-speaker surround-sound system, a retractable glass panel, an umbrella holder, reading lights, noise-reducing wheels and tires, airline-style recliner seats with pillow headrests, heated armrests, a partition between the front and rear compartments, active noise control, separate audio outputs for the front and rear, a mini fridge, vanity mirrors, rear gloveboxes, multiple USB ports, and fold-out tables. In addition to its modern features, the Lexus model is equipped with a warmth-sensing infrared (IR) matrix sensor that constantly monitors the temperature of the rear-seat occupants' legs, thighs, chest, and face. This system adjusts the air conditioning and seat heaters to maintain a comfortable cabin temperature.

Lexus LM 350h: Safety Suite
The Lexus Safety System+ 3 ADAS suite ensures safety with features like dynamic radar cruise control, automatic high beams, safe exit assist, a blind spot monitor, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, and vehicle detection for stationary and moving vehicles. Additionally, the model includes a 360-degree camera, multiple airbags, and a digital rearview mirror.
