The limited-edition version of the LC 500h – Lexus' sports coupe – has been launched in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 2.50 crore (ex-showroom), the special-edition LC 500h comes with an array of exterior and interior design enhancements. First off, the coupe is available in a unique 'Hakugin' pearlescent paint shade with a subtle satin finish, to contrast with black elements on the front grille and the rear diffuser area. The cosmetic improvements to the exterior also include front bumper canards and carbon-fibre rear wing for better aerodynamics. The grille is a lot more subdued as compared to the standard version, while the special-edition coupe sits on a set of new 5-spoke Matte Black-finished 21-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the special vehicle includes a new Kachi-Blue interior theme and a limited-edition scuff plate, while also making extensive use of Alcantara upholstery. The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer says that this version will be offered in limited numbers, however, we do not have the exact figure.

In August 2023, Lexus revealed the second-generation LM MPV for the Indian market – a direct rival to the Toyota Vellfire, which is currently available between Rs 1.20 crore and Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom). Underneath the skin, two gasoline-hybrid powertrain options are offered with the second-generation Lexus LM. The first is a 2.5-litre self-charging hybrid engine, whereas the other is likely to be a more potent powertrain that will debut later – probably the 350h version as found on the Vellfire. However, official details have not been revealed by the company. Upon launch in the country, the 2024 LM will be available in 4- and 7-seater configurations.
