The Urus Performante's ability to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.3 seconds is sure to thrill enthusiasts.

Lamborghini is all set to launch the Urus Performante in India this month. The upcoming SUV, which has already been presented in international markets, will arrive in India on 24th November. The car is powered by the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that powers the standard Urus SUV but is comparatively more potent and lighter.

Now, let's start with the basics since the Urus Performante is all about performance. The SUV's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 has been tweaked to produce a maximum output of 657bhp. In comparison to the standard Urus, the output is about 16bhp more. The 850Nm of peak torque output, however, remains the same.

In terms of appearance, the Urus Performante receives new carbon fibre bumpers, which are 25mm longer and seem more aggressive. Additionally, the steering has been retuned for an improved feel. Other upgrades include new trims, carbon fibre choices, a new exhaust system, and several other features. Specially developed Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R performance tyres are also available as an option from Lamborghini.

After its debut, the Lamborghini Urus Performante will compete with models such as the Aston Martin DBX 707 and Ferrari Purosangue. The Urus S is also expected to be launched in India soon after the Urus Performante.
