Lamborghini Temerario, the highly anticipated successor to the Huracan, has had its images leaked online ahead of its official debut tonight, August 16, at Monterey Car Week. The leaked images offer a preliminary glimpse of the supercar’s front end, revealing a bold design that marks a significant departure from its V12-powered predecessor. Unlike the Huracan’s naturally aspirated V10, the Temerario will feature a hybrid powertrain, consisting of a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine paired with three electric motors. This configuration is part of Lamborghini's ambitious electrification strategy, aimed at making its entire lineup hybrid or electric. Upon its arrival, the Huracan successor will join the Revuelto and the Urus SE as Lamborghini's third plug-in hybrid supercar in their lineup.
Lamborghini Temerario: Design
The Temerario boasts a sharp, angular design that contrasts with the more complex lines of its larger sibling, the Revuelto. A departure from the Ypsilon's aesthetic, the Temerario introduces a distinctive hexagonal motif throughout. Its low-slung front end features sleek, twin-barrel projector headlights embedded within the sharply sculpted bonnet. The aggressive bumper is highlighted by bold, angular air intakes, hexagonal lighting elements, and a prominent splitter, lending the supercar an exotic edge.

Along the sides, the Temerario showcases a striking cooling vent ahead of the rear wheels, complemented by secondary vents at the base of the B-pillars. The car rides on imposing Y-spoke alloy wheels.
While the rear design is yet to be fully revealed, Lamborghini's teasers and test car images offer some glimpses. The Temerario is expected to feature hexagonal-shaped taillights, with exhaust outlets positioned high on the bumper and a prominent diffuser below.
Lamborghini Temerario: Interior
While Lamborghini has remained tight-lipped about the Temerario's interior, it's anticipated to share a strong resemblance with its larger sibling, the Revuelto. Key features are expected to include a prominently positioned 8.4-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 9.1-inch passenger display. The steering wheel is likely to adopt a similar design with four control knobs, offering drivers a choice of 13 distinct driving modes. The interior will also likely feature a selection of physical controls for intuitive operation.
Lamborghini Temerario: Powertrain
The Temerario marks a significant departure from Huracan, as Lamborghini has confirmed a shift from naturally aspirated V10 power to a hybrid twin-turbo V8 setup. At the heart of this new powertrain lies a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine capable of producing 780bhp and 730Nm of torque, all while revving to an exhilarating 10,000rpm. This high-performance combustion engine is complemented by three electric motors, though the combined system output remains undisclosed. Power delivery is handled by a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
