The Italian sports car company, Lamborghini, has announced that its newest flagship supercar – the Revuelto – has been fully sold out until 2026. The Revuelto made its public appearance in March 2023 as a replacement model for the Aventador, and it is the company's first car to be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain as part of Lamborghini's plan to introduce hybrid tech across all the models by late 2024. Those who have already placed an order for the new Aventador successor will have to wait for about 3 years to take its delivery, while those who are mulling over buying the same may have to wait a bit more. With the Revuelto, you get a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine, which is touted as the most powerful engine the sports carmaker has ever made. Combined with three electric motors, the Revuelto makes a maximum output of 1000bhp.

Lamborghini Revuelto PHEV: Powerplant
The Italian manufacturer claims that the Revuelto can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of over 350km/h. The carmaker's most potent 12-cylinder engine alone cranks out 825bhp of maximum power at 9,250rpm and 725Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. Its plug-in hybrid system consists of a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack and three electric motors - two on the front axle and one over the gearbox.
The battery pack is good enough for a pure-electric driving range of roughly 10km, and in the process, the V12 can charge the car's battery through a rear motor in a claimed time of 6 minutes. For transmission duties, the hybrid powertrain is linked to an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which is mounted transversely behind the V12 engine.
Lamborghini Revuelto PHEV: Underpinnings
The Revuelto is built on a new chassis, called the 'monofuselage'. This is an all-carbon monocoque chassis and features a carbon-fibre front structure that includes the front-impact structures. This chassis is 10 per cent lighter than the Aventador's chassis, and the front frame weighs 20 percent lighter than the Revuelto's predecessor. According to Lamborghini, its high-strength aluminium – which makes up the rear chassis – also saves weight, reduces the number of welding lines, and increases rigidity.
Lamborghini Revuelto PHEV: Exterior, Interior
On the looks front, the Revuelto is sharp and edgy. It gets Y-shaped elements such as LED daytime running lights, tail lights, hexagonal-shaped exhaust ports, and side body panels. Moreover, the rear air intakes and the wheels also come with Y-shaped design features. On offer are also radar sensors integrated into a front grille.
Inside, the supercar features an 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen in the centre, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel display, and a 9.1-inch display for the passenger. Unlike the Aventador, it gets new storage spaces like a slot for a phone charger and Porsche-styled cupholders. The Revuelto has upholstery that combines leather with a new Corsa-Tex fabric in Dinamica microfibre. Besides, the brand provides access to its 13 driving modes, including three hybrid modes named Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance.
