Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica Debuts as a One-Off to Celebrate Brand's 60th Anniversary
The Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica is intended as a 'highly customised version' of the Revuelto, the Italian brand's first plug-in hybrid supercar with a high-performance powertrain.
On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Automobili Lamborghini has showcased a one-off piece of art at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023. Based on the V12-powered Lamborghini Revuelto, the new model is dubbed the Revuelto Opera Unica. The Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica is intended as a 'highly customised version' of the Revuelto, the Italian brand's first plug-in hybrid supercar with a high-performance powertrain, delivering over 1,000bhp (combined). With this power output at its disposal, the Revuelto is said to be extremely agile and effective on both the road and track.
"Being the fastest, most technologically advanced and customisable Lamborghini in history, the Revuelto has seen a tremendously positive response from customers globally. The iconic V12 plays an integral part in Lamborghini’s history, and with this 'Opera Unica', we have truly explored the possibilities of our Ad Personam personalisation, thus creating an automotive masterpiece", said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO, Automobili Lamborghini.

Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica: Exterior
The design of the new car is intended to fuse aerodynamic performance with streaks of warm and cool colours, and styling cues from the 60th anniversary Lamborghini silhouette are evident. The Viola Pasifae (Purple) and Nero Helene (Black) colours together with streaks of red and blue make it a head-turner. The firm claims that this complicated paint job took the team a total of 435 hours (18 days) to complete.
Mitja Borkert, Design Director, Automobili Lamborghini, said, "We wanted to create something purely artistic using brushes and a combination of colours as if the Revuelto was a canvas. That is what fuelled our inspiration for this special livery".
"With the dynamic hand-painted exterior, we really emphasise the aerodynamics and speed of the car."
Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica: Interior
Inside, the purple-and-black treatment is even more pronounced; you are greeted by Nero Ade (Black) and Viola Acutus (Purple) with similar streaks of warm and cool colours. Complementing this two-tone leather interior theme are the seat backrests, door inserts, and headliners, all embroidered with the 60th-anniversary logo. Even the red start/stop cover is highlighted with the shaded brushstroke colours. To achieve all this, it required Lamborghini an additional 220 hours (about 9 days).
Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica: Powertrain
Under the hood, the new model comes powered by a brand-new 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine supplemented by 3 electric motors and a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This engine, which marked its debut on the Aventador LP 700-4, alone churns out 825bhp at 9,250rpm and 725Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. Entirely new from the ground up, this engine is the lightest and most powerful 12-cylinder engine, tipping the scales at 218 kilograms.
When combined with electric motors – two on the front axle and one over the gearbox – the Aventador-replacing Revuelto delivers over 1,000bhp, which is enough to make a 0-100km/h dash in a claimed time of 2.5 seconds. The top speed of the car is marked at 350km/h (claimed).
Meanwhile, the carmaker recently launched the Lamborghini Revuelto in India, with the price starting at Rs 8.89 crore (ex-showroom). Unfortunately, the company will not likely open fresh bookings for the Revuelto as Lamborghini India Head Sharad Agarwal, in a special conversion with autoX, said that the model was already sold out until the end of 2025. However, the company has managed to secure a few allocations, with the first unit expected to be delivered in the coming weeks.
