We all knew that Lamborghini was celebrating its 50th anniversary but what we didn’t know was that it was bringing the party to India. To mark the 50th anniversary celebrations, Automobili Lamborghini launched an exclusive India Limited Edition Gallardo LP550-2.

Only 6 will be sold, out of which one has already been taken off the market so you have 5 to choose from. The India exclusive limited edition Gallardo LP550-2, is all about cosmetic changes so please note that it isn’t a brand new car for India (which none of us were expecting it to be)

The Gallardo LP550-2 India Edition sports three colours - Arancio Borealis (Pearl Orange), Bianco Monocerus (White) and Verde Ithaca (Pearl Green) - as a dedication to the three colours of the Indian national flag.

Then there are the tricolour stripes that run the entire length of the car - from its front bonnet to the roof up to the engine bonnet. The car also gets the symbolic ‘India Serie Speciale’ plate near driver’s seat quarter glass.

Inside, the Gallardo LP550-2 India Edition features a predominantly black interior design with stitching on the driver’s seat in Verde Ulysse (Green) and passenger seat in Arancio Leonis (Orange) while the stitching on doors, center console and dash board in Bianco Polar (White).

With a design based on the Gallardo LP550-2, the India Edition boasts of the same features and technical specifications.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pavan Shetty, Head of Operations, Lamborghini India, said, “The India Edition car represents a powerful and sophisticated tribute from the House of the Raging Bull, symbolic of our common ethos in aspiring for perfection. The car reiterates our commitment to India and enthusiasts of Lamborghini.”

With only 5 left, Lamborghini will sell this India exclusive Edition at a price of Rs. 3.06 crore (ex-showroom Maharashtra). Here’s your chance to grab the bull by its horns (if you can that is)
