The final Lamborghini Huracan will roll off the production line in 2024, following the Italian company's decision early this year to discontinue the Huracan (the brand's second bestseller). However, the special-edition model, the Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10° Anniversario, has been revealed with cosmetic and hardware changes before production completely ceases from 2024 onwards. Recently, the 10th birthday of the company's Squadra Corse motorsport department was celebrated with this special car that is based on the track-focused Huracan STO.
The Huracan STO SC 10° Anniversario is a one-off piece of art created by Lamborghini's Ad Personam division. It sports a lime green (Verde Mantis) and black (Nero Noctis) livery inspired by the SC63 LMDh hybrid prototype with which the company will race at the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the IMSA SportsCar Championship next year.

The green-and-black treatment continues inside as well, with the Anniversario featuring sport seats with Nero Ade (black) Alcantara upholstery set in contrast with Verde Fauns (green) stitching. The special edition also gets four-point seat belts, an aluminium roll bar for protection, a carbon fibre floor cover, and an exclusive plaque on the rear firewall.

Moreover, the Huracan STO SC 10° Anniversario also adds aerodynamic enhancements and other upgrades to it for enhanced performance. These include brand-new carbon fibre flicks mounted on the bonnet, motorsport-derived shock absorbers, four-way adjustable dampers, and special Bridgestone tyres for 'optimum performance and durability'. For increased downforce, the rear wing sits at an angle three degrees higher than the production model. Also up for offer is the Akrapovic titanium exhaust, providing a unique soundtrack for the STO.

Under the bonnet, the Huracan STO SC 10° Anniversario is equipped with a 5.2-litre V10 engine that belts out 622bhp and 565Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel drive.

Lamborghini Huracan's Successor
In the Huracan's place, the manufacturer is evaluating the plug-in hybrid version, and the speculations are rife that the new car will use a V8 turbocharged engine for its internal combustion component. For transmission, the successor model will use an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic similar to the Revuelto. The Urus is also slated to adopt a plug-in hybrid powertrain setup in the first half of 2024, while the Revuelto already has one.
