The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato will be limited to 1499 units and will go on sale in February 2023.
Wraps have finally come off the brand-new Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato at the Art Basel in Miami Beach. The new sports car has a 5.2-litre V10 engine that offers 602bhp and 560Nm of maximum torque at 6,500rpm, marking a loss of 29bhp and 40Nm to the standard Huracan AWD. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to all four wheels through an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system and a mechanical self-locking differential in the rear. The carmaker has stated that the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato can go from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 260km/h.
The Sterrato has 44mm more ground clearance than the Huracan EVO and more suspension travel. Also, the front and rear tracks are increased by 30mm and 34mm, respectively. Lamborghini has also changed the front bumper and installed aluminium underbody protection. It rides on specially designed 19-inch wheels and is outfitted with Bridgestone off-road tyres. All of these upgrades have contributed towards making the brand-new Huracan Sterrato off-road capable, claims Lamborghini.
The interior receives new Alcantara Verde upholstery, but no major modifications have been done. Inside, the new Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato retains most of the Huracan EVO's features and technology. The new model, however, has its own driving modes: Strada, Sport, and Rally. In addition, the car's instrument cluster now includes a digital inclinometer with a pitch and roll indicator, a compass, a steering angle indicator, and a geographic coordinate indicator. The satin-finished khaki paint colour, which contrasts with red accents on the claddings and brake callipers, is also new to the range of the Huracan. The starting price of the sports car in European markets will be €263,000 (₹2.22 crore approx).
