After a series of teasers, Kia is all set to globally unveil the Syros tomorrow, December 19. While official specifications are yet to be revealed, the Syros is expected to slot between the Sonet and Seltos. The Sonet is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh, while the Seltos costs Rs 10.90 lakh. Based on this positioning, the Syros is likely to fetch somewhere around Rs 9 lakh. These are starting and ex-showroom prices. Although the Syros won’t have any direct rivals in India, it may serve as an affordable alternative to models like the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Hyundai Creta, the Tata Nexon, and the Hyundai Venue. Read on to find out what the new Kia Syros could bring to the table.
Kia Syros: Exterior and Interior
The official teasers have shown that the brand-new Kia Syros will adopt a boxy design language, characterised by vertically stacked 3-pod LED headlights, LED DRLs, and large window panels. It will also feature a flat roof, extended roof rails, and a distinctive kink in the window beltline near the C-pillar. Other design highlights include flared wheel arches, bold silver cladding on the doors, flush door handles, and L-shaped LED taillights.
