Kia Syros Bookings Commence in India; Prices to be Revealed on February 1

Kia will announce the prices for the Syros in India on February 1, 2025. The SUV is available in six variants—HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O).

Kia has officially commenced bookings for the Syros SUV at a token amount of Rs 25,000 ahead of its launch in February 2025. The SUV is available in six variants—HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O)—and eight monotone colours (Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, Frost Blue, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Sparkling Silver, and Glacier White Pearl). It features a blanked-out tiger nose grille, a clamshell bonnet with the Kia logo, vertically arranged LED headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lamps, and a large air intake. The SUV's side profile highlights dual-tone alloys, silver roof rails, and flush door handles, complemented by 17-inch wheels and black cladding. At the rear, there are striking L-shaped taillamps, an integrated spoiler, and a shark-fin antenna, which add to the dynamic appearance. Read on for more information on Kia’s new SUV.

Kia Syros: Interior and Features

Inside, the Syros has a dual-tone black and grey theme and a distinct layout from the Sonet and Seltos. The key highlight is the rear seating, which comes with ventilated leatherette upholstery and offers added comfort with both sliding and reclining functions.

In terms of features, the SUV has a two-spoke steering wheel, a 5-inch screen (placed between the two displays for climate management), two 12.3-inch screens (one for the infotainment and the other for the driver's display), a Harman Kardon sound system, a four-way powered driver's seat, and eight speakers, ventilated front and back seats, remote control power windows, and dual-zone air conditioning, and a panoramic sunroof.

Kia Syros: Powertrain

The Syros offers two engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with 118bhp and 172Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel with 116bhp and 250Nm. The standard transmission is a six-speed manual, while a six-speed torque converter automatic and a seven-speed DCT are available as options. The 1.0-litre petrol with the 6MT is available on the HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, and HTX trims.

The 7DCT option, on the other hand, comes with the HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). The diesel engine is offered with a 6MT on the HTK (O), HTK+, and HTX trims. The HTX+ and HTX+ (O) versions also offer the 6AT option.
