As part of MY2024 updates, Kia has expanded the variant line-up of the Seltos and Sonet SUVs by introducing new GTX variants. The company has also updated the existing variants with new-age features, including a new paint option. The newly launched Seltos GTX gets two powertrain options – a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to a seven-speed DCT gearbox and a 1.5-litre diesel unit paired with a six-speed automatic torque converter. Features-wise, the variant packs in a 360-degree camera, an ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) suite, a sliding centre armrest, ventillated front seats, solar glass, and white callipers (front and rear). Kia Sonet GTX: Features, Powertrain, Price
Coming to the new Sonet GTX, Kia offers the following options: 1.0-litre turbo-petrol-DCT and 1.5-litre diesel-AT. The former makes 118bhp and 172Nm of peak torque, while the latter cranks out 114bhp and 250Nm of maximum torque. The variant brings leatherette seats, paddle shifters, drive and traction control modes, and an auto up/down safety window feature. It also gets ventillated front seats and a 360-degree camera, like the Seltos GTX. The table below shows the pricing of the Sonet GTX variant:

Kia Seltos, Sonet: What else is New?
In another update, Kia has introduced a new Aurora Black Pearl colour option on the top-of-the-line X-Line variant of the Seltos. The X-Line was previously available only in an Xclusive Matte Graphite shade. Not just that, the X-Line also gets solar glass, which is also on offer with the GTX+ variant. The latter further adds white front and rear brake callipers.

For the Sonet HTK, Kia has introduced a Smartstream 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, making it an affordable option on sale at Rs 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The other existing HTK+ variant adds LED headlamps, ISOFIX mounts, and a rear wiper and washer. Also, the HTX now offers a wireless phone charger and 16-inch diamond-cut alloys, among other things.
