Korean carmaker Kia has completed five years of operations in India. To celebrate this occasion, the company has launched special-edition versions of the Sonet, Seltos and Carens in India. Called the Gravity Edition, it brings along a few aesthetic changes as well as new features, offering buyers a more premium and distinctive experience.
Positioned above the HTK+ variant, the Kia Sonet Gravity Edition gets a rear spoiler and 16-inch alloy wheels. There is also a special-edition logo on the front doors. Exterior colour options are Pearl White, Aurora Black Pearl, and Matte Graphite. Inside, the vehicle features a TGS leather knob, Indigo Pera seats, a front-door armrest, a dashcam, 60:40 split seats, rear adjustable headrests, a rear armrest with cup holders, and a wireless charger. Under its hood, the Sonet Gravity Edition is equipped with three engine options: 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol with manual gearbox (82bhp); 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with iMT (118bhp); and 1.5-litre diesel with manual gearbox (114bhp). Kia Seltos Gravity Edition: Specifications
Slotting above the HTX variant, the Seltos Gravity Edition features body-coloured door handles, a gloss black rear spoiler, 17-inch machined alloy wheels, and an exclusive Gravity logo. Two exterior shades are Glacial White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl.
Inside, the special edition has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a dashcam, and a Bose sound system. In addition, the vehicle gets an electronic parking brake (petrol-CVT only) for safety. The model gets two powertrain options – a 113bhp, 1.5-litre petrol engine with either a manual or a CVT transmission and a 114bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine with a manual transmission only. Kia Carens Gravity Edition: Specifications
As for the Carens Gravity Edition, Kia has just slapped the Gravity emblem on the front doors. The new edition sits above the lower-spec Premium (O) variant in the lineup. Features-wise, the Carens Gravity Edition offers a single-pane sunroof, artificial black leatherette seats, leatherette door-centre trims and armrests, a D-cut leather steering wheel, a dashcam, and LED map and room lamps.
Under the skin, there are three powertrain options: 113bhp, 1.5-litre petrol engine with MT; 158bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with iMT; and 114bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine with MT. Have a look at the pricing now:

Kia India is scheduled to launch two products next month in India: the Carnival facelift and the EV9. The former will be an affordable alternative to the Toyota Vellfire and the Lexus LM, while the latter could be a reasonably priced competitor to premium electric SUVs like the BMW iX and the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV.
