Kia Sonet Facelift: Design and Features
The compact LED fog lamps, a new grille, updated LED taillamps, and an LED bar spanning the width of the tailgate are among the design enhancements on the facelift, according to the previous teaser. Additionally, new alloy wheels are anticipated for the vehicle. Regarding features, it is anticipated that the all-new Sonet SUV will have a 360-degree camera, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless mobile connectivity, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and an electric sunroof. Moreover, the vehicle may have Level 1 ADAS features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and front collision warning.
Kia Sonet Facelift: Safety Suite
As mentioned, the ADAS on the SUV is the standout feature revealed via Kia's most recent teaser. After the Hyundai Venue N Line, the Kia car will become the only other model in its class to have this feature. Besides this, the Sonet's safety equipment probably includes front and rear parking sensors, hill-hold assist, six airbags (which are now standard), and electronic stability control (ESC).
Kia Sonet Facelift: Engine
The 1.2-litre normally aspirated petrol (82bhp and 115Nm), 1.5-litre diesel (114bhp and 250Nm), and 1.0-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol (118bhp and 172Nm) engine options will apparently remain available for the all-new Kia Sonet. The diesel unit will have a 6-speed intelligent manual (iMT) or 6-speed automatic transmission, while the NA petrol will have a 5-speed manual transmission. In the meantime, the 6-speed iMT and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) will be available as options for the turbocharged petrol variant.
