Kia Seltos gets a new top-of-the-line variant. The brand calls it the X Line and has given it major cosmetic tweaks on the outside, as well as, on the inside.
The Kia Seltos gets a new top-spec variant called the X Line. This new X Line variant of the Kia Seltos has been launched in both diesel, as well as, petrol engine options. Although, buyers looking for the engagement of a manual transmission will be disappointed as the X Line variant only comes with an automatic gearbox option.
The Kia Seltos X Line equipped with the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox has been launched at Rs 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The diesel counterpart, that gets a 1.5-litre engine and a a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox has been priced at Rs 18.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
This new X Line variant is essentially based on Kia Seltos’s GTX Plus variant in terms of features, but there are some cosmetic tweaks on the exterior, as well as, the interiors.
The X Line variant comes with a graphite matte colour scheme only, and there are some orange accents on the front bumper, side body cladding and the rear diffuser. Most chrome bits that you observe on other Seltos models have been turned to black, for instance, the matte black grille, fog-lamp surrounds and tailgate garnish.
One more change on the outside is the set of new 18-inch crystal-cut matte graphite alloy wheels. The variant lower to the X Line get a set of 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Moving to the insides, there is a heavy dose of Indigo Pera leather that one can observe on the door cards, and the seats The interiors also sport a dark theme that compliments the exteriors. Other features on the inside and outside, are identical to the Seltos’s GTX Plus variants.
This new X Line variant of the Kia Seltos is a permanent addition to the portfolio and will not be phased out in some months.
