Following the launch of a new mid-spec GTX variant of the Seltos SUV at Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, Kia has hiked the prices of the SUV. Currently, the Seltos range sees an upward price revision of up to Rs 19,000, depending on the variant selected. The Seltos is priced from Rs 10.90 lakh for the base-spec HTE to Rs 20.37 lakh for the top-spec X-Line variant. All prices are ex-showroom. The model is available in the following variants – HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+ (S), GTX+, X-Line (S), and X-Line, and here's a look at their current pricing:

Speaking of variants, the Seltos' new GTX variant is positioned between the HTX+ and GTX+ (S). Under the hood, the GTX gets both turbo-petrol and diesel engines, both mated to their respective automatic gearboxes. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a seven-speed DCT gearbox cranks out 158bhp, while the 1.5-litre diesel unit with a six-speed automatic torque converter makes 113bhp.
Kia Seltos GTX: Features
The GTX packs in dual 10.25-inch screens (for the infotainment and instrumentation), Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity, connected car tech, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventillated front seats, cruise control, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, electric parking brake, and Level 2 ADAS. However, it lacks 8-way powered driver seats and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.
Kia Seltos X-Line: New Colour Introduced
Moreover, the Seltos X-Line gets a new exterior colour option – Aurora Black. It was previously available only in an Xclusive Matte Graphite shade. The interior, on the other hand, continues to offer the same Xclusive Sage Green colour.

In terms of market competition, the Kia Seltos takes on the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, and the Honda Elevate.
