The prices of all other variants remain unaltered. As before, the facelifted version of the Kia Seltos is offered at a starting price of Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base HTE MT and goes up to Rs 20.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the high-spec X-Line AT.

Kia India has recently given its Seltos Facelift a price cut. With immediate effect, a uniform price reduction of Rs 2,000 applies to all variants from the mid-spec HTX to the higher-spec GTX Plus (barring the X-Line). Offered in both petrol and diesel iterations, the HTX now starts at Rs 15.18 lakh and goes up to Rs 18.18 lakh, whereas the price of the HTX Plus (available in turbo-petrol and diesel) ranges from Rs 18.28 lakh to Rs 19.18 lakh. Meanwhile, the GTX Plus and GTX Plus (S) are available at Rs 19.98 lakh and Rs 19.38 lakh, respectively. All revised prices are ex-showroom.

However, this price reduction comes at the expense of an important feature. With this update, the abovementioned variants miss out on a one-touch up/down function for all four windows, with only the driver getting this feature. The Seltos X-Line, on the other hand, continues to come with four one-touch rolling power windows.

With a mid-life facelift in July 2023, the Seltos embraces a more forward-looking approach with new DRL signatures and dynamic turn indicators; however, it still looks muscular and strong. Other bits include a sculpted bonnet, a tiger-nose grille, LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, a four-block design for the fog lamps, wrap-around LED taillamps, 18-inch wheels, and dual exhaust tips.

Kia Seltos Facelift: Powertrain

The Kia Seltos gets 3 engine options: a 1.5-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel, as well as a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The naturally aspirated petrol unit churns out 113bhp/144Nm and gets a 6-speed or a CVT, while the diesel engine generates 114.4bhp/250Nm and is offered with a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, meanwhile, produces 158bhp and 253Nm of torque, both comparable to those of the Tata Harrier (168bhp and 350Nm). This mill is connected to either a seven-speed DCT or a six-speed iMT.
