Next month, the Kia Seltos Facelift is likely to be introduced to the Indian market. Several market reports indicate that it might have an asking price of Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). On July 14, Kia began accepting bookings for the upcoming vehicle for a price of Rs 25,000, and on the same day, the company shared that it received more than 13,000 bookings for the updated SUV. Kia reports that 13,424 pre-orders were placed on the first day, out of which 1,973 bookings were made using the K-Code. The SUV continues with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine, with 113bhp and 144Nm, and the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine, with 114.4bhp and 250Nm, as the standard model. Additionally, it gets a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which replaces the older 1.4-litre unit, producing 253Nm and 158bhp. Kia Seltos Facelift: Exterior & Interior
At the front, the new Seltos sports a new grille, LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and a renewed front bumper featuring larger vents and a skid plate. Further, it sports an L-shaped LED taillight with an LED light bar in the centre, a rear bumper with a grey inlay, and a faux skid plate with dual exhaust tips. Inside, the Seltos facelift receives a dual-screen setup with two 10.25-inch touchscreen displays for the infotainment system and the instrument cluster.
The revamped SUV is offered in three trim levels – Tech Line, GT Line, and X Line. The GT Line cars' interiors are now black and white, while the X Line model receives the sage green colour. Meanwhile, high-end models get a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, an automated parking brake, rain-sensing wipers, and other features.
Kia Seltos Facelift: Engine
As previously mentioned, the updated SUV continues with the two engines offered with the standard model – the 1.5-litre petrol with 113bhp and 144Nm, and the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel with 114.4bhp and 250Nm. The latter is coupled to a 6-speed iMT or 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the former is connected with a 6-speed manual or CVT. Both engines are BS6 Phase II compliant. The SUV also receives a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which replaces the old 1.4-litre unit and has a maximum output of 253Nm and 158bhp. With this model, a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is an option.

Kia Seltos Facelift: Price & Market Competitors
In terms of price, the updated SUV is expected to cost between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 21 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will go up against the models such as the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
