Kia entered the Indian market with the Seltos last year in August then the brand, as well as the product have been a runaway success. Celebrating the completion of the car’s first year, Kia has introduced the Seltos Anniversary Edition. Based on the HTX variant, the Seltos Anniversary is priced starting Rs 13.75 lakh going up to Rs 14.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The Anniversary Edition with the petrol heart at Rs 13.75 lakh is Rs 41,000 more than the regular HTX. Meanwhile, at Rs 14.85 lakh, the diesel anniversary Edition also demands a similar premium. The Anniversary Edition can also be had with a petrol and CVT combination, and it is priced at Rs 14.75 lakh. Here’s what you get for the Rs 41,000 premium of the Anniversary Edition.
Exclusive Exterior:
As you’d expect, the Seltos Anniversary Edition shares the same silhouette as the standard trim but it gets a bunch of noticeable changes all around that add to the overall sporty appeal of the car. The Anniversary Edition gets orange accents all around including the fog lamp, exhaust surrounds on the rear bumper, side skirts and centre caps on the alloy wheels. It also gets special anniversary badge on the tailgate. The front bumper has also been redone and now gets a new silver faux skid plate. The redesigned bumpers have increased the length of the car by 60mm.
Interior updates:
The cabin of the Seltos Anniversary Edition is draped in black giving it a sporty appeal. It gets some piano black accents on the door pads and the leatherette upholstery has been stitched with a honey-comb pattern. As far as features go, the Anniversary Edition gets everything that you have on the HTX trim including LED headlights and taillights, sun roof, keyless entry, power windows, touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and more. As far as safety goes, it comes with all the necessary features like ABS, EBD, Airbags, speed sensing auto lock and more.
Engine Options:
The Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition will be offered with a petrol and diesel engine option. The 1.5-litre petrol heart is good for 113bhp and 144Nm. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT option. The diesel, on the other hand, is makes 113bhp and 250Nm from a 1,493cc engine. The 1.4-litre turbo petrol motor is not on offer in this special edition Anniversary trim.
Kia has the Seltos Anniversary Edition on offer in Aurora Black Pearl and three other dual-tone options of Silver, White and Grey with Black.
