After debuting the EV9's concept form at the Auto Expo 2023, Kia finally released the all-electric SUV to the public this year. Since then, the design, technology, and features of this premium Kia electric SUV have been the subject of much attention. Now, the South Korean automaker has announced plans for a high-performance EV9 GT. According to Kia, EV9 GT is just around the corner. The manufacturer has also given hints that there would be considerable performance increases in this high-end Kia EV9 variant compared to the base model. In keeping with the company's promise, the EV9 GT will soon be available, further strengthening EV's reputation for performance vehicles after the EV6 GT. This verifies what Kia CEO and President Ho Sung Son has said. Early in 2025, according to him, Kia will release the EV9 GT. Not much is known about the drivetrain at this time other than that it uses electric motors on each axle.

Kia EV9: Exterior & Interior
The SUV's exterior has the brand's patented Digital Tiger Face, which the company claims gives it a distinct look. The Digital Pattern Lighting Grille and the vertical headlights are nice touches. The Digital Tiger Face also has 'Star Map' LED DRL and two clusters of little cube lights, one on each side of the headlights.
Having two screens on the dashboard draws attention to how spacious the car really is. The Kia EV9 has three different seating arrangements, with possibilities for six or seven passengers. The swivel seats in the second row are the highlight since they can rotate a complete 180 degrees to face the passengers in the third row. There is no leather anywhere inside. It makes extensive use of sustainable resources including corn, sugar cane, olive oil, and other bio-based compounds.
Kia EV9: Features
Kia has included ADAS in the EV9 GT-line. It allows for safe, hands-free driving on the roads. The ADAS system's highway driving pilot will include Level 3 automatic driving, which might make the hands-free operation of the car possible. The ADAS makes use of a total of 15 sensors for its operations. These sensors include radar, 360-degree cameras, and two lidars.
