Kia brought in the all-electric EV6 in 2022 with youthful styling, a spacious cabin, and a maximum range of 708km. The model is due to get a facelift, which will see a global debut in the coming months. However, ahead of that, Kia has released a first set of teaser images offering us a good look at the vehicle's fascia and rear. From what we can discern, the new Kia EV6 features a design in line with newer Kia electric vehicles sold abroad (EV5, EV9). At the front, it gets a revised Tiger Nose grille, a redesigned bumper, and new headlamps with angular C-shaped LED DRLs (daytime running lights). While the rear section seems to retain the same full-width LED light bar as before, the graphics are new and do not feature vertical lines like before. Also, the new rear bumper and alloy wheels are on the cards.

Kia EV6 Facelift: Interior

Though Kia offers no interior details, we expect the EV6 to offer a new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, revised controls on the centre console, new upholstery, ventillated seats, ambient lighting, and wireless charging. Safety-wise, the car could pack in some additional features. Expect some minor revisions to an ADAS suite as well.

Kia EV6 Facelift: Battery, Range

Currently, the Kia EV6 gets a 77.4-kWh battery pack with an ARAI-certified range of up to 708km. But, there is a possibility that Kia may equip the EV6 facelift with a larger 84kWh battery, which is also found in the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5. The larger battery will offer an increased range. Meanwhile, the rear-wheel-drive version of the Kia EV6 should come with the same 58kWh battery pack as before.
