Kia EV4 with up to 630 km Range Breaks Cover
Inside, the Kia EV4 features a two-spoke steering wheel, a three-screen arrangement with two 12.3-inch displays and a 5-inch unit for climate control, among others.

Kia has finally revealed the production version of the EV4 in both hatchback and sedan body styles during its EV Day event in Spain. The car takes inspiration from the concept of the same name that debuted in October last year. It offers two battery pack options and a maximum range of up to 630 kilometres. The Kia EV4 will go on sale in Korea first in March, followed by Europe in the second half of the year. Its availability in India hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but we can expect the EV to make its way here in the near future. Here's an in-depth look at the design and specs of the EV4.

Kia EV4: Design
The EV4, in both sedan and hatchback forms, sports a unified front design characterised by vertically stacked headlamps and DRLs, a broad rectangular air intake, and a black accent strip that divides the bonnet from the bumper. Both models boast smooth side profiles and wheel arch cladding. However, the sedan's roofline transitions into a sleek fastback design, while the hatchback boasts a more traditional look with shorter rear overhangs.

Unlike the sedan's split taillights, the hatchback features a connected taillight design and a roof-mounted spoiler.
Kia EV4: Interior and Features

The EV4's interior embraces a minimalist approach, focusing on a clean design and user-friendly functionality. The dashboard is sleek, featuring a panoramic display that combines essential controls and information. A 12-inch head-up display further enhances the driving experience by simplifying access to key data. Safety is given a key focus, with a full suite of ADAS features, including Forward Collision Avoidance Assist 2, Driver Attention Warning, Lane Following Assist 2, Remote Parking Assist Entry 1, and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist.
Kia EV4: Powertrain
The EV4, in both sedan and hatchback versions, offers two battery options: 58.3kWh and 81.4kWh. A 201bhp (150kW) front-mounted electric motor powers both models, delivering 0-100km/h acceleration in 7.7 seconds for the standard range and 7.4 seconds for the long-range models. Both versions have a top speed of 170km/h. With the 58.3kWh battery, the EV4 sedan offers a range of 430 kilometres, and the hatchback has a range of 410 kilometres. The 81.4kWh battery increases the range to 630 kilometres for the sedan and 590 kilometres for the hatchback.
