Kia's Concept EV2, unveiled in Barcelona, previews a small, affordable electric car for Europe and other markets. The production version is expected to go on sale internationally in 2026.

Kia showcased its smallest electric car to date as a concept at the EV Day event in Barcelona. Called the Concept EV2, this innovative model offers a first look at the brand’s affordable, compact electric car that is expected to launch in Europe and other markets in 2026. Whether India will be one of the markets to get Kia’s new compact EV is currently unknown. Design-wise, the Concept EV2 is unmistakably Kia, featuring a clean and confident design. The eye-catching dual, claw-shaped headlights, vertical taillights pushed to the edges, pillarless design, unique square-spoked alloy wheels, and rugged plastic cladding all contribute to the concept’s striking appearance. The production version of the EV2 is expected to closely resemble the concept, though with a few subdued features. To discover exactly what will change, we’ll have to wait until next year.
