Kia has taken covers off the 2024 Carnival MPV that will hit the Indian market next year. However, we only have pictures of the exterior. Just like the exterior, the interior will be also updated and will feature new seats, dual curved displays, and other amenities, although the South Korean manufacturer has yet to reveal the corresponding details. While the interior is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, the exterior design strays far away from the Kia KA4, which appears more like an SUV due to its squared-off stance and angular lines. That said, the Kia Carnival Facelift gets a wider tiger-nose grille, L-shaped headlamps, and LED daytime running lights at the front, while the rear end comes with a revised bumper, new LED taillamps (again L-shaped), and a connected LED light bar. Other styling bits include a faux brushed aluminium skid plate, a reworked front bumper featuring a small air intake, and the same dual-tone alloy wheels as the ones on the EV5 and the EV9.

Kia Carnival Facelift: Interior
Expect the updated Carnival to offer twin curved displays for infotainment and instrumentation, multiple sunroofs, EV9-derived seats, as well as an ADAS suite. In comparison, the KA4, which is a pre-facelifted version of the Carnival, has two 12.3-inch displays, powered front seats, a premium sound system, a wireless charger, multiple airbags, and ADAS.
Kia Carnival Facelift: Powertrain, Performance
Based on the Kia KA4, the Carnival Facelift will be equipped with two petrol and one diesel engine, along with a new 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid engine option. More details are yet to be made public. Expect the facelifted version to arrive in the country in early 2024.
Kia K5 Facelift with Redesigned Headlights, New Curved Display
Meanwhile, the 2025 Kia K5, formerly referred to as the Optima, has been globally unveiled with several cosmetic and technical enhancements. The midsize sedan received a mid-cycle refresh nearly four years after the current-generation model marked its debut. Changes include redesigned headlamps and taillamps, a new front bumper with larger faux air vents, new alloy wheels, and a pair of curved screens.
