The released teaser image shows a Jeep Gladiator with a J6 badge. The concept comes fitted with roof and hood mounted lights, chunky tyres and beadlock wheels.
Jeep has made it a habit to unveil new concepts around Easter. Last year, the company showcased several Wrangler-based concepts at the Easter Safari in Moab, Utah. Looks like this year too we can expect a few new concepts. The American carmaker has just released some teaser images of their upcoming concepts. A quick glance at them reveals that they are based on the recently unveiled Gladiator. One of the images shows a blue Jeep wearing a J6 badge. The car has been fitted with a roof mounted light bar, hood mounted lights, large and wide tyres and beadlock wheels. While there is no official hint or confirmation, we think the J6 could possibly be an ode to the J-series pickups of the 1970s.
The second image shows a rendering of a yellow Jeep that’s surely a Gladiator too. By the looks of it, this one will get additional bed rails and larger off-road wheels. Details of both these concepts haven’t been revealed yet. Jeep is likely to take the wraps off these two concepts at the 2019 Easter Safari that commences on 13th April. Speaking of concepts, Jeep also took the wraps off the Compass Plug-in Hybrid and Renegade Plug-in Hybrid at the Geneva Motor Show this year.
