Jaguar will showcase the next-gen model of its best-seller XF during an extraordinary unveiling in London on 24th March.
In an event streamed live online, expert British stuntman Jim Dowdall will drive Jag’s latest offering across two 34mm-diameter wires suspended high above water, to emphasise its lightweight and agile credentials.
However, it won’t be until the New York Motor Show at the start of next month before Jaguar provides full drill down of it specs sheet. All we know now is that it is the second car in the company’s history to take advantage of advanced aluminium-intensive architecture. It will also offer ‘class-leading’ mileage of 70mpg.
Naturally, the British car maker has high expectations from the XF, as evident from Director of Design, Ian Callum’s quotes: "I believe the all-new XF will be the best looking car in its class. Elegant, handsome and with proportions that imbue a great sense of integrity - the all-new XF will be true to the strong tradition of sporting Jaguar saloons while being completely of its time."
