The entry-level F-Type starts at ₹90.93 lakh for the coupe and ₹1.01 crore for the convertible models.
Jaguar Land Rover India has added new variants to the F-Type’s lineup. Available in both coupe and convertible body styles, the new 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine on these new models is good for producing 296bhp of max power. The engine makes the F-Type 52kg lighter than the V6.
While 4-cylinders might make you sceptical about this F-Type's exhaust note, Jaguar claims that they have extensively tuned the intake and exhaust system to deliver the renowned F-Type sound. The active exhaust is standard on entry-level F-Type 2.0-litre models, while the higher spec R-Dynamic variants feature a switchable active exhaust.
When it comes to performance, the base F-Type can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 5.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250km/h. Visual update to these new F-Type variants include a single centre placed exhaust and standard 18-inch wheels.
On the launch, Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India, said, 'We are very excited about the introduction of the 2.0-litre engine on the F-Type. This will make our sports car brand more accessible to Jaguar fans and customers across the spectrum. Enthusiasts are sure to be thrilled by the appeal of this pure breed F-Type with its own unique driving character.'
