Jaguar has resurrected the legendary E-Type, a classic sports car that hasn't been produced in over 50 years. These two new Jaguar E-Types were created by JLR's Works Bespoke division for a special customer in Southeast Asia. The cars are painted in Signet Green and Opal Black, colours inspired by the final versions of the Series 3 E-Type from 1974. Inside, the luxurious leather seats feature a unique woven pattern, a first for Jaguar Classic. These bespoke E-Types showcase the timeless elegance and performance of the original E-Type, making them highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
Chief Commercial Officer Lennard Hoornik said: 'With E‑type Commemorative, our Classic team set out to improve on an already near‑perfect design. As the original creators of E‑type, we are uniquely positioned to subtly integrate both aesthetic and engineering enhancements borne out of decades of knowledge, skill and passion. The unique specification and our collaboration with renowned jewellers Deakin & Francis has resulted in a machine as close to driveable precious metal as it is possible to conceive.'
