The new variant of the Volkswagen Cross Polo will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine providing a perfect balance of power, performance, fuel efficiency and safety.
One of the world’s biggest car manufacturers, Volkswagen, launched its Cross Polo 1.2 MPI in the Indian market. The car will have a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 74bhp of maximum power and 110Nm of torque. The carmaker claims that the car has a fuel efficiency of 16.47kmpl.
The new Cross Polo also boasts of its safety features. The car comes equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), dual front airbags and outstanding build quality all of which has helped the car to have a 4-star NCAP rating.
The car has been designed to make heads turn thanks to its dual-beam halogen headlamps with black finish, 15-inch alloy wheels, ‘Cross’ bumpers with silver accents, silver-painted roof rails and rear-view mirror housing and ‘Cross’ front grille with chrome accent.
Interiors have been changed too to suit the new looks. The new car has upgraded interiors with leather-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel, superior ‘Cloud Titan Black’ upholstery and ‘Climatronic’ automatic air-conditioning.
Commenting on the launch of the new Volkswagen Cross Polo 1.2 MPI, Mr. Michael Mayer, Director – Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. The bookings began this morning with the new Cross Polo starting from Rs. 6.94 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
