Honda has showcased the BR-V prototype at the Gaikindo Indonesian International Auto Show today.
Developed specially for the Asian markets, the BR-V crossover clubs the appearance of an SUV with the spaciousness of an MPV.
Under the hood, the BR-V features a 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine that produces 120 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. This power is channelled through a six-speed manual gearbox, with automatic transmission also available as an option.
On the safety front, Honda’s latest offering comes equipped with multiple airbags, ABS, Vehicle Stability Assist as well Hill Start Assist.
The BR-V will first hit the Indonesians roads in 2016 before making its debut in other parts of the world, including India.
