The Hyundai Xcent will come with a 1.1 litre second generation U2 CRDi diesel with 70bhp, while the 1.2 litre Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine will churn out 82bhp. Hyundai has also claimed that the diesel engine will be able to provide a fuel economy of around 24km/l. Both engines will also be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, but the petrol engine will also come with an optional 4-speed automatic gearbox.

In the cabin, the ergonomically positioned controls, generous legroom and headroom, multiple storage options and class leading boot space are trendsetters in the sedan segment. The car also comes loaded with segment unique and hi-tech features like rear AC vent, smart key with push button start/stop, rear parking sensor with camera and ECM display, fully automatic temperature control (FATC), and auto folding mirrors.
