More than a month after Hyundai announced a price hike across its entire product portfolio from January 2024 in India, it has increased the prices of the Venue by up to Rs 11,900. According to market reports, the S+ 1.5 diesel MT variant gets a maximum price hike of Rs 11,900, while the SX 1.5 diesel MT, SX(O) 1.5 diesel MT, SX 1.5 diesel MT dual-tone, and SX(O) 1.5 diesel MT dual-tone variants have received a uniform price hike of Rs 9,900. Finally, the E 1.2 petrol MT, S 1.2 petrol MT, S(O) 1.2 petrol MT, S(O) 1.2 petrol MT Knight Edition, SX 1.2 petrol MT, SX 1.2 petrol MT dual-tone, SX 1.2 petrol MT Knight Edition, and SX 1.2 petrol MT Knight Edition dual-tone variants have received a hike of Rs 4,900.
After the price revision, the Hyundai Venue’s starting price is now Rs 7.94 lakh for the base E 1.2 petrol MT and goes up to Rs 13.44 lakh for the top-spec SX(O) 1.5 diesel MT dual-tone. All prices are ex-showroom.
Hyundai Venue: Features
The Hyundai Venue is available in eight variants and seven exterior colour options. The interior of the car includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation, a digital instrument cluster, OTA updates, Alexa and Google Voice Assistant, a sunroof, a reclining rear seat, a wireless phone charger, an air purifier, two USB C-slots, paddle shifters, and an electrically adjustable driver's seat with four settings. In terms of safety, it gets ESC, VSM, hill-assist control, Level 1 ADAS (offered with diesel and turbo-petrol units), and six airbags.
Hyundai Venue: Engine, Output
The Venue is offered with 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine options. In terms of output, the NA unit churns out 82bhp and 115Nm of peak torque, while the turbo petrol makes 118bhp and 172Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine, meanwhile, produces 114bhp and 250Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a seven-speed DCT, and a five-speed manual unit.

In terms of powertrain, the new Hyundai Creta will be available with three engine options – a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit. The first two units have been upgraded to comply with the stricter BS6 Phase II emission norms. For transmission, there will be four options on offer – a 6-speed manual, an IVT, a 7-speed DCT (standard), and a 6-speed automatic.
