A new Hyundai Venue will soon break cover. A test mule of the new sub-compact-SUV has been spotted internationally. We reckon that the global premiere is just before the end of this year.
Recently, Hyundai released the design sketches of the Creta facelift, which is likely to make a global debut in the coming months. Alongside the mid-size SUV, Hyundai will most likely showcase the updated Venue as well. The spy pictures of the new sub-compact-SUV that have surfaced on the internet further confirm this.
A test mule of the updated Hyundai Venue has also been spotted abroad. The new sub-compact-SUV will sport an updated design, and the cabin will have a few retouched elements, which will include seat fabric with a new stitching pattern and a new interior theme. Expect the new 2022 Venue to have some more features. With the new Venue, Hyundai will most likely also rejig the variant line-up.
The engine options will continue to be the same as the outgoing Venue – a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo diesel unit, and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The gearbox options will include a standard manual transmission, an iMT, a dual-clutch auto, and a torque converter automatic.
The Hyundai Venue facelift is likely to be more expensive than the current sub-compact-SUV on sale. The outgoing price of the Hyundai Venue starts at Rs 6.99 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect a price hike of Rs 15,000 – 25,000 across the variants.
