Hyundai has launched the Venue Executive —a new Turbo MT variant of the well-liked sub-4-metre compact SUV in India. The new model, which costs Rs 9.99 (ex-showroom), comes equipped with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 118bhp and a peak torque of 172Nm, with only a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine gets an idle start/stop system for better fuel efficiency. Alongside the new variant, Hyundai has added brand-new amenities to the Venue S (0) Turbo model. These new features include an electric sunroof and reading lamps for the driver and front passenger. The upgraded Hyundai Venue S (O) Turbo variant carries a price tag of Rs 10.75 lakh for the 6MT version and Rs 11.85 lakh for the seven-speed DCT variant.
Hyundai Venue Executive: More Highlights
The Hyundai Venue Executive Turbo has an array of distinguishing traits, such as a 16-inch dual-tone wheel design, roof rails, a shark fin antenna, a dark chrome front radiator grille, and an ‘Executive’ logo on the tailgate. Inside, the SUV features a digital instrument cluster with a coloured TFT MID, a two-step rear reclining seat with a 60:40 split, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, and adjustable headrests for all occupants.
The new variant is equipped with a plethora of safety features, including six airbags, automatic headlamps, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) highline, hill assist control, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM), and dual-day/night inside rear-view mirrors (IRVM).
It is important to keep in mind that the Executive edition does not come with equipment like the ORVM-mounted indicators, rear camera, LED lights and DRLs, height-adjustable driver's seat, rear parcel tray, and sunroof that are offered on the S(O) model.
The sub-four-metre SUV industry has, without a doubt, become increasingly competitive in recent years. As a part of this market, the Hyundai Venue faces competition from a variety of vehicles, including the Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. Hyundai claims that the newly introduced Venue Executive variant provides the ideal balance of exhilarating performance and improved convenience features for the cost-conscious modern buyer.
