Heavy discounts on the i10, Xcent, Verna and the SantaFe
Demonitisation of the Rs500 and Rs1000 notes has had an effect on the automobile market as well. November has been a difficult month for Hyundai as sales dropped by 8 per cent compared to corresponding month last year. The Korean car maker sold 40,016 units in November 2016 as opposed to 43,651 units in the same month last year. Now it seems like Hyundai wants to make amends and make up on the ground they lost. And to do that, Hyundai has introduced attractive discount offers on a few of its models.
Hyundai is offering benefits of up to Rs 60,000 on its entry-level offering Eon and Rs 52,000 on its compact sedan Xcent. With these benefits, the Eon can be purchased at sticker price it carried 5 years back. Similarly, the i10 too is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 53,000. On its Indian Car of the Year winners, the Elite i20 and the Grand i10 too, you can now save up to Rs 35,000 and Rs 91,000 respectively. If you are planning to make a purchase in the C-segment sedan category, you’d want to consider the Verna as one of the options to consider. Hyundai is offering the Verna at a special starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh and benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh on other variants. The Chennai-based car maker’s flagship SantaFe is being offered with a discount of up to Rs 2 lakh.
All of these benefits are cumulative and can be in the form of gift cheques / cash discounts, exchange bonuses, insurance or more. Aside from all these discounts and benefits, Hyundai is also offering 100 per cent on-road finance to its customers in light of the current demonitisation. All these offers are valid up to 25th December.
