Benefits of up to Rs 71,000 are being offered on the Grand i10 hatchback.
Monsoon means slow car sales and heavy discounts! And if you’re planning to buy a Hyundai Grand i10 at the moment, it’s raining discounts – literally. Hyundai is offering discounts of up to Rs 71,000 on the small hatchback for a limited period offer. While the company says these ‘benefits’ are part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, we think it’s more to do with the monsoon period, which in India mostly brings the sales volume down for almost all of the manufacturers.
Speaking of the discounts, Hyundai is offering up to Rs 71,000 discount on the Grand i10 diesel variants. On the petrol/CNG variants, benefits of up to Rs 63,000 are being offered. As per a Hyundai dealer in NCR, customers will get free insurance, free third-year extended warranty and a heavy exchange bonus while an additional discount above that will also be offered to corporates.
Recently, Hyundai had also introduced a 20th anniversary edition of the Grand i10 as well. The special edition variant comes with some additional exterior and interior enhancements including body graphics, blacked out B-pillars, 20th anniversary badges, a rear spoiler, and a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with red and black interiors.
Powertrain options on the Grand i10 include a 1.2-petrol and a 1.1-litre diesel engine. Both the engines come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, whereas the petrol also has a 4-speed automatic on offer.
Hyundai is also offering heavy discounts on the slow-selling Verna and Elantra. The latter has discounts of as much as Rs 1.50 lakh on offer!
