Hyundai will enter the lucrative compact SUV market in the second half of the year with the global roll out of Creta. The car will make its debut in India before being sold in other parts of the world.
The choice of the word ‘Creta’ is in line with Hyundai’s Modern premium direction - Simple, Creative and Caring. Further, it is easy to remember and evokes similarity with creativity.
Hyundai expects Creta to be an important product in its fleet and one that will help it reach more customers in new and established markets around the world. Its closest rivals will be Renault Duster and Ford Ecosport.
