South Korean manufacturer Hyundai has just taken the wraps off the Ioniq 5 N Pikes Peak race car ahead of the 2024 edition of the 24 Hours of Nurburgring. Touted as the Ioniq 5 N TA (Time Attack) Spec, the model is a modified version of the Ioniq 5 N which will race at this year's Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in June. Hyundai will campaign the two Time Attack Spec cars in the modified electric SUV/Crossover class at Pikes Peak.
Over the standard Ioniq 5 N, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N TA Spec also gets a 'high-downforce' aero kit, which includes a massive rear wing, side sills, and fender flares. Then, there are 18-inch 11J forged wheels, Yokohama ADVAN 005 slicks, new shock absorbers, and motorsport-spec brakes. The suspension setup is updated with three-way adjustable dampers, while the stopping power comes from six-piston brakes at the front and four-piston clamps at the rear. Ride height and camber are also adjustable.
