With the introduction of E-GMP to India, we will be able to provide customers with advanced battery electric vehicles, derived from a platform that is modular, scalable, and versatile.'

The platform uses a cutting-edge battery pack, which is said to offer a long range. Additionally, the high-voltage battery can power numerous electrical equipment, thanks to the bi-directional charging connector. The platform's integrated charging control unit (ICCU), which is used to charge both the high-voltage battery and the auxiliary battery, is another noteworthy feature.
Hyundai emphasised the versatility of the new platform, which it may use to support various vehicle types. Vehicles built on this platform will have features like a level floor, a small cockpit, and a flexible yet roomy cabin.
