Ahead of its global debut at the Busan International Mobility Show in South Korea on June 27, Hyundai has unveiled the official name and teaser images of its next compact electric car. Dubbed the Inster, the car will be modelled on the Casper SUV, which has been available in the Korean market since 2021. Several spy shots of the latter have previously surfaced online. The teasers of the Inster also reveal a striking resemblance to the ICE-powered Casper. The new moniker will be used in global markets and is derived from the phrases 'innovative' and 'intimate'. Meanwhile, in the brand's home market, the Inster will be marketed as the 'Casper Electric'. Hyundai believes that the upcoming model will set "new standards" for driving range, amenities, and technology. Here's everything we know so far.
