All geared up to launch its new Exter SUV in India, Hyundai has flagged off the assembly of the car at its manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. The car is the company's smallest sport utility vehicle. It will be launched in India on July 10 with one petrol engine and one CNG option on offer. In addition to the Exter SUV, Hyundai's Sriperumbudur plant also assembles other models, such as the Venue, the Creta, the Alcazar, and more. The automotive manufacturer rolled out the first unit of the Exter SUV in the signature Ranger Khaki colour. Additionally, the Hyundai Exter will also be offered in Atlas White, Fiery Red, Titan Grey, and Starry Night colour options.
Upon launch, the new Hyundai Exter SUV will get a choice of one petrol and one CNG fuel option. A 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine will churn out 82bhp of maximum power and 114Nm of peak torque, whereas a 1.2-litre Bi-Fuel Kappa petrol with CNG option is expected to make 68bhp and 95.2Nm.
